ELOQUENT is delighted to announce the appointment of Amy as Co-Chair of the organisation.

Amy will serve alongside our Co-Founder and Co-Chair, Janice Davis, bringing complementary experience and leadership to our Board as ELOQUENT enters an exciting new chapter of growth.

Strengthening our leadership

Over the past 13 years, ELOQUENT has grown from a community-led vision into a multi-award-winning creative ecosystem as a dance and creative organisation, empowering thousands of people through dance, creativity and community.

As our work, partnerships and ambitions continue to grow, we recognise the importance of strengthening the leadership and governance surrounding the organisation.

The introduction of a Co-Chair model will increase the capacity of our Board while bringing together two distinct but complementary areas of leadership.

Complementary roles

In her new role, Amy will help shape ELOQUENT’s strategic direction, strengthen relationships with funders and key stakeholders, and open doors to new partnerships, opportunities and spaces.

Her focus will include funding, strategy, external engagement and increasing ELOQUENT’s visibility and influence across the arts, cultural and social impact sectors.

Janice will continue to provide invaluable leadership across governance, compliance, organisational development, staffing and the culture of ELOQUENT.

As Co-Founder, Janice brings extensive knowledge of the organisation, its people and its journey. She will continue to play an important role in protecting the values, legacy and integrity upon which ELOQUENT was built.

Growing with purpose and integrity

Together, Amy and Janice will provide strategic oversight and support to ELOQUENT’s Founder and CEO, wider Board and leadership team.

Their combined leadership will strengthen our governance, increase our capacity and help ensure that ELOQUENT continues to grow sustainably while remaining firmly rooted in its purpose and community.

This appointment represents an important investment in ELOQUENT’s future and the leadership infrastructure required to support our long-term ambitions.
