DANCERS OVERCOME LOCKDOWN WITH ONLINE COMPETITION SUCCESS

Eloquent have been working super hard to keep our dancers and performers motivated during this third lockdown in the UK through online dance classes and now our first online dance competition!

A select handful of dancers represented eloquent in our first ever online dance competition and spent the whole of January preparing for the event! The dancers had to learn choreography via zoom and from pre recorded videos. They were so determined to succeed and disciplined in their training , practising and taking online classes up to 3/4 hours per week to ensure they were on the top of their game. The dancers were required to be competent in dance genres contemporary , commercial and show dance.

The online competition took place via zoom on Sunday 14th February, 2021 from 10AM - 7PM.

Our dancers were able to achieve the following results:

MAKEIA aged 15: 1ST PLACE & 3RD PLACE🏆

JAYANNA aged 7 : 1ST PLACE , 1ST PLACE , 2ND PLACE & 5TH PLACE🏆

GIANNA aged 14 : 2ND PLACE , 2ND PLACE & 5TH PLACE🏆

SHIRAH aged 13: 1ST PLACE🏆

TORI aged 13 : 4TH PLACE🏆

Special mention to Nevaeh (Aged 10) who made it to the semi finals and Michaela ( Aged 10) who competed in her first ever competition. Great job well done!
